I have
chosen to use a double page for my contents page, as it is quite typical of
music magazines to do so. As you can see I have a border running round the top
and right hand side of the page, I have done this to break the page up, and
make it more consumer friendly, as the text will not be all bunched together.
Using the boxes also enable me to fully portray the chosen colour scheme.
The title
(Contents) will be in the same font that I am using for some of the cover lines
on the front cover; and it will be white. The title will be accompanied by the
issue number and date.
In the top
right hand corner of the page will be the Acapella logo. I am using the logo on
this page to give the magazine a brand, and make it recognizable.
Down the
right hand side, will be a brief introduction about what is going to be
featured in the magazine, and then at the bottom will be links to social
networking sites (Facebook, twitter, and Instagram).
I am going
to use a collage of images to the right hand side of the page, and the images
will have a Polaroid style border - to embody the vintage theme of the magazine
– The images will also have the corresponding page numbers on them, that link
to articles.
The
articles will be categorized into sections, so that the readers can find the
specific features they are looking for with ease.
Finally, I
am going to use pagination, as every single magazine uses it. It was be set up
like so:
8 |
Acapella
